Application for Mobile Devices

Making payments through mobile phone is the simplest and cheapest way of payment acceptance, which is most suitable for those countries that have neither tough regulation for payment acceptance and receipt requirements, nor have payment infrastructure. Payment agent is required only to have a mobile phone supporting Java and GPRS. Nowadays almost all mobile phones hold these features. All settings are configured once the applet is downloaded.

For a Dealer

This application is designed for payment system agents. A new payment acceptance point being authenticated by login and password is registered in dealer’s cabinet. A dealer downloads the applet to his mobile phone and sends payments using the registered login and password. Cryptography on RSA keys is not advisable in this case, since it extremely complicates the applet. Besides, not all handsets support it. The applet to be installed on the dealer’s mobile phone supports the following functionality:

Sending payments
Payment status control
Review of all recently sent payments and their status
Deposit control in the payment system
Viewing payment system messages
Some other optional functions

For a Payer (end user)

This application is actually payer’s personal cabinet feature on a mobile phone. Payer’s personal cabinet functionality is not used in full but main things like payment sending, balance viewing and other additional options are available.

Currently, wider functionality software is being developed designed for installation on smart phones using different operating systems.
